Buffalo - Reagan National Cockpit Flight (Home Simulator)

Short flight from Buffalo, New York (KBUF) to Reagan National Airport (KDCA) in Arlington, Virginia... just across the Potomac River from Washington, DC. I tried a little bit of a different perspective on takeoff, and let's just say, flying with one hand is.... not easy. I do like the results, though, from the hand-held camera angle. The video concludes with the River Visual approach to runway 19 at DCA on a clear winter's day. Sorry for the color issues on the approach portion of the video -- the video camera's white balance, despite being set on manual, obviously wasn't having a good day!

FS2004, wideFS, and Project Magenta networked over 6 PCs, with three projectors warped over a 24' curved screen providing the visuals. Hardware components are from Flight Deck Solutions, CPFlight, Poldragonet, SISMO, and ACE. The seats are out of a real UPS 727-100QPF. Yes, I know the yokes aren't linked and there are visible projector seams on the screen. The latter is on the "to do" list, along with about 50 other projects.

I learned to fly out of buf and got all of my ratings atp now flying a lear 40 based at KIAG all of my jet time is in business jets typed in a FA900 LR45-40 but I would love to take that around the patch great job man....clear skies and tailwinds cya
