Just my XD-9 with custom sear and lighter springs. Reduced take up, pull weight, and reset. Need to add a trigger bar to get rid of more take up and overtravel.

  • What are all the mods you've done now since you shot the video? I have an xd-40sc, I'm thinking doing stuff to it. I wish there was a way to greatly reduce the recoil, too snappy.

  • @GunSmokinCrazy Since then I installed a new trigger bar. Had to do some smithing on it. I think I swapped around some other parts too. Cant evenremember it was so long ago haha. To this day I have yet to have a malfunction with this pistol. 1000s of rounds. Only FTF Ive had was due to cheap bulk ammo with a bad crimp. I would like an XDm 40cal Sub compact though for my carry pistol.

  • Hey guys... As for the parts, Ive changed things a bit, and the pistol is better than ever. Im not using the lighter springs, stock sear, Springer Precision trigger bar (fitting required) and a Powder River Safety Lever. The lever reduces pre-travel, the bar handles overtravel...simply put. I love it now.

  • Very nice, how did you do it?

  • It was actually pretty easy. Springs are drop in, Powder river Safety Lever is drop in, and the springer precision trigger bar was not difficult to fit. Just some filing here and there and its perfect. Also did a light polishing on all the friction areas.

Check out XDtalk for guides on doing everything. Also there is a good write up on there for fitting a springer trigger bar.
