@overwhelming12 it's not that he doesn't want it copyrighted, cause it is copyright under him. it's more of he doesn't want Touhou to be commercialized.

A lot of things have been ruined after being commercialized and ZUN doesn't want that to happen to Touhou.

@JoJothepunisher ZUN, the one man creator of the game Touhou, does not want Touhou to be copyrighted. Which is the reason fans can keep making these animations and other Touhou games. Although, I agree that an anime will be great :D But I just hope, when the anime is created, these people from the TV station won't become an asshole saying "Oh, we own the title Touhou now, so no one can make anything based from it or it will be sued for copyright!"

Why don't they just make the anime for Touhou already? Don't they realize that if they can pull off an anime for Touhou it is gonna bring in money? This video is evidence to that, as I became a fan just from watching this video.
