Amistad: A Black History Month Contest

This is a BHM Video Editing Contest, based on the Amistad. The details are in the vid, the links are below. The summary is: watch the video response I posted, and make a video using the audio from it and clips from the Dreamworks movie "Amistad". The entry deadline is 20 FEB, with the winner announced on 27 FEB.

Although the idea and initiative for the replica precede the 1997 release of the film, I can't help but think that the film aided with the spurring on of would be donors for that costly project. AMISTAD America, Inc. had been working on the project for years, but the actual schooner was not launched until 2000, three years after the release of the movie brought unprecedented awareness to the history of the original.
