This is my newest popping freestyle dance filmed in my basement August 19th 2011 with my new camera!! Canon 600D :) Its been a while since I posed but hope to be doing this more regularly. To be totally honest I'm not that happy with this get down -- a bit stiff -- but I had to post something haha, its been too long. Can you explain please: I would like to begin to dance and I also pay attention on popping but I don't understand what the style it is. In this video I see the elements of tutting and waving - is it popping? Sorry, if the question is stupid. And are you really from Russia? It will be more comfortable to write in Russian :)

@Trytorise Good question! Popping is often an umbrella term that includes waving, tutting, gliding, boogaloo, etc all done while hitting or "popping." If someone says popping its usually a combo of all of these.. very few people really do popping as just hitting. Maybe 1% of poppers only do hitting, it would get boring fast lol. 2. I am first generation American (born in USA) but 100% of my family is russian. I speak it but cannot read and write it lol.

i learned popping from u bro , i started with moonwalk from some guy on youtube , and then i check the Waves tuttorial of u ,, and now im a pro , thanks alot

@TheRussianTiger Thanks for the answer! So, if I would like to dance popping, I must learn other styles and try to combine them? It will be difficult :) Now I can do only the arm wave and some tutting. I've tried to do body wave like in your videos but failed :) Sorry for my English.

1:43-1:46 has got to be hands down the best simple, but extremely cool popping move I've ever seen.
