Included in this 1983 film clip are buses being washed, maintained and refuelled at Hockley bus garage in Birmingham, of West Midlands PTE.

  • My father worked as a mechanic for many years at Hockley garage after working many years at Miller Street, he retired about 10 yrs ago, he will be interested in this video

  • Was same age in same period - but my local garage was Yardley Wood. Nice place for the relatively rare Birmingham Atlanteans (including 460MTE - the ex-Leyland demonstrator!).

  • Them Fleetlines look smart, (Park royals), Grew up in Wolverhampton, so remember the Metro's mk1's coming into service, iwas about 5-6yrs! Happy days.
