  • The hell is with the kai lao..seems like all they do is march around like its a military parade or do a jig..

and also why is it every video i watch that has tonga or samoa has an argument about the origins of something...

im guessing the next argument will be where the fucken taro came from..

who the hell cares every people from the pacific is related to each other and have similiar dances..but theyre all original..

so stop trying to prove who did what..

  • If there's any pride I have of Tonga is that we R a Kingdom and could care less about the hatred that comes from our own socalled fellow polynesian brethren. But yall would betray us quicker than any outsider would. Its definitely a sad situation! My Tongan flag represents my heart. The cross that symbolizes my king who is the Lord Jesus Christ. And the red that symbolizes His Atoning sacrifice. Has it occurred to anyone of yall that our king humbled himself and subjected himself to the highest

  • What in the..man you guys still going? LOL

Listen here dummys, Im Tongan, I speak Tongan, I am recognized as Tongan. So dont try to claim me as Samoan, yeah we have roots ( like all Pacific islands do ) with each other. But we all have our own countries and distinct cultures today, if we all owned each other why arent we still owning each others islands? Exactly so get over it.

Btw no hate to Samoans, or whoever. Just this arguing is stupid, this all happened what 3000 years ago? come on guys.

  • @TCGViking Samoan woman had more status that most Tongan men and women. Youre beginning to smell like King Momo aka Kava Tonga. Read the quote above and from link below, Evaluate it properly and come back bro

    jps.auckland.ac.nz/document/Volume_36_1927/Volume_36,_No._141/Kava_ceremonial_in_Tonga,_by_E._E._V._Collocott,_p_21-47/p1

  • @TCGViking "Foreigners, being exempt from the tapu binding on the native, may eat the fono; but when the descendant of a foreigner has much Tongan plebeian blood claims based on foreignness are disallowed. At a kava party of Ata's some women were sitting in the alofi, and were ordered to move. One, however, who said she was a Samoan, was allowed to stay, and sat throughout the ceremony with one hand resting on the ground, which would not have been permitted to a Tongan woman or man."

  • @WarriorBK Oh yes they probably lied about almost everything. I showed them Tui Tonga Fatafehis account of first Tui Tonga Ahoeitu being a descendant of Tui Manu'a. They were so in disbelief and shocked that they veered and brought up the "Samoans were concubines of Tongan wariors". But when I brought up Hamilton's accounts of Tongan mothers selling their daughters to his fellow sailors and that these mothers (and family as a whole) brought their daughters to the kings of Tonga. they tugged tail

  • @aug43t "a high chiefly daughter" doesnt account for the 37800 virgins being deflowered by the Tui Tonga between 1770 and 1784. Where did these 37800 women came from??? You guess...They were all Tongans. No migration of Samoans reported between this period. Cpt Cook was clear about that....lol

  • @taputolo I agree with you here. You see, Tongan women at the time looked more Melanesian than Polynesian. Then came the concubine thingy where all Tongan virgins are to be deflowered by the Tui Tonga whos ancestry goes back to Samoa. Almost all Tongans were converted into Polynesian by their Samoan Tui Tonga Fatafehi in a matter of decades if not centuries....lolol

  • @aug43t well to my understanding it was cpt Cook who made it clear that about 37800 Tongan virgins were concubines of Tui Tonga Fatafehi in the 1770 to 1784. So dont mix your Tongan history with Samoan history. Again, cpt Cook made it clear that no Tongan will get away with that.

  • @TCGViking haha you're probably a product of a Tongan concubine in denial.

"The King of Tonga was once required to deflower all the virgins on the entire island and he was still performing his duties eight times a week when he was 80 years old"

  • @MultiFreshFob hardout !

  • @MultiFreshFob

yes well my point was, most people say another island stole another islands dance which infact is wrong. 100s of years of inter-island trading and interaction eventually ended in all the polynesian cultures mixing and sharing certain cultural aspects (dances, customs, languages, etc.) So we pretty much all have a mix of each others culture, and its stupid to argue who took what because no one knows that for sure.

But I am still proud to be a Tongan.
