DIRT 2 performance test on core i7 975 and hd5870 gpu, settings all maxed and 4 x aa at 1920 x 1080 resolution, My driving skills here are some what to be desired lol, this is just a performance video, Comments about my driving skills will be removed lol

  • @5468295 ye the 980 has six cores + 6 HT cores, 975 has 4 cores + 4 HT cores, both perform the same really in games, but in things like encoding the 980 is better as its got mor cores

  • @tobyty123 max detail and graphics at 1920x1080 but i doubt you can go for much AA and AF

  • @ThePoolPisser Well I don't know about that. A few games I played you can definitely tell the difference between off-2-4-8x AA on a 22 inch TV/Monitor. Just very little to nothing between 8-16x AA.
