yea probably but in ur pond there are like, i dont wanna call it seaweed but it looks exactly like it where the turtles crawl around on top of it...i caught a 20 pound snapper and when i put it back the whole thing was sticking out of the water cus it was just wlaking over da seaweed...and that lake is deep!..idk if u have that though

"dude" ... thanks for the tip. I've made some adjustments after reading up on their general habitats a bit. The thing is, I was thrown by the fact that they live in the pond out behind my house and it's a far cry deeper than what I had him in. He does seem more mellow now.
