This is a childish experiment I made with Zynaddsubfx. You can hear it in high definition at my blog:

or visiting soundclick profile:

This video clip was made using kdenlive. I would like to thank Heather Elaine Kitchen for the photos made available in stockvault.net.

  • I love Zynadd. Did you use Rosegarden to make this song?

  • @AcidDogFullOfShit I used noteedit for this melody, and then lmms for the final mix. It was not the most efficient way of doing this...

  • Nice piece of music. I love ZASFX. May I ask what sequencer did you use?

  • @unfa00 Hi! Originally the whole song was written with Notedit. At the end of the composition process I wanted more flexibility and also to have the percussion done with Hydrogen, so I used noteedit to control Zynaddsubfx and recorded one phrase at a time. At the time I was still learning ardour, so I mixed the tracks in LMMS and ended up using LMMS Beat sequencer for the percussion.

  • @fteixeira82 Thanks for reply :) I didn't know about Noteedit.

  • @unfa00 Noteedit is now obsolete. Currently I am using Nted whenever I feel like composing using standard notation.
