I tried to remake Ghostwalker2061's Aurora tutorial but in higher resolution and with an explanation on how it is done.
I am not sure I did it completely right and I messed up on turning the image. Anyhow, I hope this helps. It took me a while to figure out how to stroke the path in that special way. Not completely certain I did it her way either. But the end product looks pretty good.
