Call me old fashioned but I really regret the fact that games, music and movies are all going digital. I love my physical copies and will only buy a digital game if it's at least 25% (dependent on the DRM, the harsher the physical copy's DRM the less valuable it is to me) cheaper. I never buy digital music however I will download music that artists put out for free, for example on bandcamp and as for films, forget about it, if I can't have a physical copy then I'll take my business elsewhere.

TB, games can be compressed significantly to take up far less data than what you'll see on Blu-Ray discs.

If everything goes digital. you can say hello to a monopoly on the console market, namely Sony and Microsoft. I know Microsoft's Xbox Live is already expensive.
