This is the first part of The Best of Beadle's About, from 1991. I believe it was originally broadcast on New Year's Day 1991, and this recording was from a repeat in December that year.

This is the first stint, in which Beadle's team use a jet-powered truck to set fire to Kathleen Henderson's car.

Little did we know back in 1991 this would be a great programme, we used to think nothing of it back then but it is legendary now. This makes modern TV look positively mind numbing.

Whole thing is a set-up - has to be
