i know it but i think it is one of the hardest pieces for percussion and my techer stands 100% me and he motivates me

the most accurate performance on youtube. Schick's is far too inaccurate for me and although it is so hard to follow i followed every bit of your playing in time with the score. Firstly how long did it take you to learn it and secondly how did you figure out those complicated polyrhythms? (for instance bar 28 with the 5:3 semiquavers (16ths) against demisemis (32nds)). O...and very well played :)

Thanks mate... I wish you all the luck. Its a fun piece to reherse, but it really gets on your nerves sometimes. I even dreamt about it ;)

Yeah.. I used the hard filt ones. Vic Firth? Don't remember the name. I felt that wooden mallets would be too loud in that auditorium.
