If the boycott of Moscow Olympics never brought down the USSR, how is boycott of Beijing Olympics gonna help the Tibetans? Zero, Nada. It only means China will get even more gold medals, and China's propaganda machine will be even more nationalistic. Beat the Chinese at their game, reduce their medal tally, instead of doing the cowardly thing of boycotting. Mixing sports with politics will only hurt your own country's aspiring athletes.
