Civilians from Norway and other Scandinavian countries are travelling to Israel to serve as soldiers in the army. Bjørn Herman, a norwegian-israeli and also a captain, says there are upto 30 scandinavians serving as soldiers in Israel at every time. Many of these participated in the 2008 war against Gaza.
