I agree. And i think that Lucas loved also Brooke. :( So sad that they didn't end up together.

I think that Brooke still does love Lucas, and 6.17 proves that she does, but i think she was dealing with it the best she knew how; keeping her feelings in, pretending to be happy for Lp exacly & i think that kiss brought all her feelings back.

Its funny too because seeing how much she loves him in this scene, which is 2 years after season 4, it proves that she still loved him after they broke up and only kept her distance to keep Peyton and Lucas happy (cuz thats what she thought Lucas wanted). It really makes you appreciate even more how selfless and loving this girl is. <3

i couldn't agree with you more. the whole time I watched 409 I kept telling myself Brooke please don't tell him to go after peyton but she did cause she tought it would make luke happy and thats what mattered to her the most. this is why I love Brooke so much, she was never selfish when it came to Luke's happiness and she'd never betray another person no matter how much she disliked them.
