Ok this is my take down/re-assembly of the M4 metal gearbox. Describing how the gearbox actually works and how to put it together/take apart.
sorry it got a bit rushed but i was almost over the time limit so yeah if u are confused about anything comment me w/ the question and i will help you.
The idea of this review was to give you a general idea of what you'll be facing and how to get it apart and how the gun actually fires.
this is probably my worst video ever.

  • Unless your gun sounds absolutely perfect to someone who you trust that is an airsoft tech, it is almost always necessary to take the gearbox apart. This is because most airsoft guns need to have their gearboxes shimmed. 1- to make them quieter and smoother. 2- to increase the longevity of the the gearbox. If the gears move side to side, they will have increased wear and tear compared to a shimmed one. If you are new to airsoft guns, it would be smart to work with the tech so that you know at l

  • @huntingf0r check your anti reversal latch .

  • So, when i re assembled my ver 2 gearbox, it now shoots about 3-4 bbs per shot, what did i do wrong?
