This is a music video I shot and edited back in '94 for an Allentown, PA based band called The Armadillos.

The Armadillos were:
Ted Holman - Lead Vocals
Michael Rauscher - Guitar
Brian Koch - Bass
Rod Walls - Keyboards
Tim Nagle - Drums

  • @hanchiii- I was looking for their version of the Sound of Silence, too! That's how I came across this page. Today's September 11th and I was looking for thei version of "Sound"- no one did it better.

  • ahh... its kwl to see my dad from back then....

  • @nq1313 Your right, right next to Mega Videos, this is where this was film, I think.

  • The dillos rule. Absolutely had the best times living here with those guys for many years. i wish someone had a video of him doing "Dear Prudence" and "Sounds of Silence". Nobody played/sang them better then these guys. If my brother Ted "Dallas" Holman reads this, he'll know who posted this. And i'm still here enjoying those beautifully painted doors with mr Marley and Jimmy Morrison!

  • Matt Grimwood says Carson Long Rules! Thank you Dillos!!

  • Just found this, been in this house, Mike painted the best Bob Marley on his bedroom door. It was always great to go back after the Zodiac, Lupos, Fun House ( maybe, can't remember ), ANYWHERE, it was great living. Remember the other bands, Shot Gun Wedding, Electric Farm, Fuzzy Bunny Slippers, Devils half acre ( JOSH from Shot Gun Wedding ), ton of other locals. It sucks that Keven got a BIGGER head after Fuel, saw him at the Whiskey Go Go, use to hang all the time, acted like he didn't know me

  • I lived in the Harrisburg area from 1991 - 1995. The Armadillos were one of my absolute favorite local bands. We saw them mostly at the Metron/Metropolis on Cameron and I remember a night at some house where we ended up partying with the band. I believe they lost a drummer to Fuel at one point. Man I miss these guys so much. I'd give anything for a video of Ted doing You're So Vain in his babushka and hiking boots! If anyone has any video of these guys please post it.

  • I was a youngin when my friends and I saw this band, and remember the parties back in the day, we're all getting so OLD ugh LOL

  • I smell a reunion -----c'mon guys one more for the road whaddya say!

  • I am blown away and almost cried when I found this video! And so very thankful it exists. Please if anyone has footage and I know it's out there - Please post it with the band name. The parties with all of you at Mike Romaneskys were some of my best party days - I will be sure to tell Mike to check out the video, he'll be glad to see it too. We need a reunion of the band and all the old fans! look me up on facebook!
