The Official opening of the NEW £300,000 skate park and BMX track in Farnborough Rd, ( Playing Fields ), Clifton, Nottingham NG11 8JU ( UK ).
The idea of local Clifton resident Ennis Peck, 83 and with funding obtained by Nottingham City Council sees this fabulous facility to meet the needs of kids, the older generation and skaters both local and national.
Councillor Dave Trimble with Mr Ennis Peck, cut the ribbon followed by MC- Geordie leading a three-hour skate jam with demos, competitions, give-aways, and have-go-sessions.
Clifton North councillor Roger Steel said the park would bring visitors from all over the country. It is the second largest in the country and we can expect national interest.

@l33n3ss1989 Hi... The park is 3miles from Nottingham Midland Train station. When arriving at the train station cross over the zebra crossing at staion street and about 50 yards away ( headin towards city centre on carrington street ) there is a bus stop. Navy Line number 2 ( single decker ) which takes u direct to Clifton, Farnborough Rd... Just after the Farnboro Rd School / Swansdown Road is where u get off the bus..Clifton Playing Fields...Have a safe journey :)
