Charlie - the coolest blue jay i've ever met

People have a dog, a fish, a cat, or even sometimes a giraffe. But I, I have a wild Blue Jay named Charlie.

Every morning I come out drinking some freshly squeezed orange juice and I sit on the white chair closest to the house, and with a short whistle it comes soaring over and perches on the chair next to me. Obviously it wants a peanut, but this time, I decided to film it. It usually would take the peanut from my hand without hesitation, but I think its not so fond of the camera I had in my hand.

After it grabbed the peanut with its beak, it will either bury and hide it somewhere in the ground, or it would break it open and eat it. 89% of the time it just hides it. When will they learn that the peanut tree isn't going to grow?!

I have other Blue Jays around my backyard as well, but they won't even come within 20 feet of me. There's only one Charlie.

(And he usually will scare off the other Blue Jays if I throw them a peanut.)
