The funny thing about colleges and universities is that they can sometimes be very stringent about their software requirements. Depending on your major, you may be more inclined to go with a Windows-based tablet and/or PC rather than something more like an iPad or Android device.

@DBZDALKIA Idk, I use a (fairly large) laptop to take notes, & it's getting kind of cumbersome. I would suggest you look into tablets, & remember, windows 8 is slated to be released into the market in October, so there could be some really good Windows tablets coming out around then. Something to look into perhaps.
