  • did you watch the video of stalock playing the puck? doesn't break down the techniques but does show awesome examples

  • I have watched other videos in search of useful tips and advice, but this one still is the best... Thank you for this awesome vid!

I do have a suggestion, however.

I couldn't find ANY vid of "how to handle the puck as a goalie" and I would LOVE if you guys could do it!

  • @3927Kronos we have 2 new videos about playing the puck now. enjoy

  • my chest pad wont fit in my pants do i need a bigger size?

  • @iTabbet ,

Yes. the goalie pants should fit very loose around the waist. More blocking surface, better integration with chest pad, and less restriction.

  • nice video!

  • or suspenders over my armour

  • I sure in hell dont tuck my armour into my pants

  • I've played goalie for a decade now, and I honestly have never seen anyone lace up their toe strap like that. Everyone does it differently, just experiment with it a bit in practice and see which way feel the best for you. No one really tucks their chestie in their pants, ties their pants through, or wears suspenders either.

There is no 'proper' way to put on your equipment. If this is comfortable for you, go for it. Whatever feels good for you, and keeps you protected, is what you should use.

  • I myself have a problem with my chest, I use a Vaught pauldron and a Rebook pants. so they don't really synergize well, but I also have a problem, I am a really large/big guy and the maximum I was able to get were XLarge pants (wihout having to pay too much for customs), wich still doesn't feel loose on me, I also doesn't have the straps you are shown with. been so, I am unable to put my pauldron in my pants, do that really matter?

  • I recommend NOT putting your chest protector into your pants, or putting suspenders on. It feels really stiff and hinders mobility way too much. Some goalies like it as they gain more experience, but most don't.

  • any hockey video doesnt show anything its still confusing!!!!

  • Heey he has the same pads as me im 11 got any tips for goalie anyone??

  • Get suspenders. Also, though I agree that suspenders do decrease your mobility a bit the barstow is correct the c/a will stay put and give a sense of assurance in any position you may find yourself through out the game. I've tried it many different ways and the way they did it on this video had the best feel so far. I've uploaded a video in which I forgot to put my suspenders on due to running late and I paid for it by not having a secured feeling.

  • thak you so much
