  • Love this song. For me, it is highly significant.

Most moving for me is, "This world was made for ending." The word "world" means "the age of man"; in other words, the "world" does not refer to a place, but to a period of time. And everything ends, changes, transforms. This song is, for me, a beautiful snapshot of the contemplation on our transforming existence.

It always strikes a chord deep within me.

    May we be shriven

  • wow i googled good unknown bands and it brought me here and all i have to say is wow am i glad i did that because i might just have never found this band.. you never know how you will stumble with somethingh you might just fall in love with..

  • @zomglolzbbq1

Oh Christ, do you hear yourself?

  • i have a test in ten minutes, im supposed to be studying!

somethings may be more important i suppose

  • @drewlsy Ooh, I guess I touched a nerve there. Thanks for the "pseudo-musicologist" comment, I didn't think I was up at that level. I just listen to songs. A bit of friendly advice, the name-calling, and angrily pointing out to your supposed credentials (i.e., your "expanded musical experience") you're just taking away credibility from your well thought-out argument (i.e., "Nuh-uh! It's stealing!" - I'm paraphrasing of course.)

Wanker was also a nice touch. 1997 was good times.

  • @drewlsy ...compete in the sense that they each strike similar emotional chords, with similar morosity vying for my or the listeners attention - thus directing me to the same place (where space shelf is limited).
