  • This is another concept I've been saying for years and I feel as though I'm way ahead of the curve - that Virtue not only matters, it's fundamentally important. Part of evangalization, in my opinion, is teaching the value of Virtue, and how and why it makes one strong. I got into a discussion once with a young woman about how I thought women with dignity, with self-respect, are actually more attractive than those who decide they want to dress for promiscuity. And she understood.

  • Well, I understood exactly what he was saying in the first video. Seemed clear to me!

  • @BlooMort: I agree very much on this... yet a lot of Catholics do not have enough information on their own church or simple bible text to evangelize people. I have noticed this with my church, and hopefully I can change this when I get older. God bless! :D

  • You're forgiven Michael. It takes courage and cojones to speak truth in public but it takes even more courage and cojones apologize in public. You got them alright! May the Holy Spirit ALWAYS REMAIN in you and your show and the staff.

  • @BlooMort I agree, I too have always found the evangelizing part quite uncomfortable. I think it has rarely been part of Catholic culture in the US. Whereas it is very loudly part of Protestant culture. Perhaps because the evangelizing we see and hear, protestant-style, is such a turn-off to Catholics, we turn our backs on the idea. ?? Mother Teresa said the best way to spread the gospel is by acting it out in every single thing we do -- set an example that astounds people and draws them in.

  • I got the message the first time around. Yet some might need to be re addressed since those that try to make a big deal out of the 'grays' areas. Yes the answer is stepping out and not being the silent majority!

  • Way to go, Michael--well done....much better this time. Thank you!

  • I believe we are all called to evangelise the Word of God through love, service and dialogue. Somehow though, Catholics seem to be very poor at this (myself included). We should be filled with zeal even more so than other Christians as we are blessed to have the fullness of truth as given to us by Jesus Christ in the written and spoken Word of God. My point is I think we as Catholics have become complacent in, and have as a whole forgotten Jesus' command to "...make disciples of all ...".

  • Remember this EVERYONE: Atheists & antagonists are NOT the only other people watching Michael here. I'm sure many MORE people who are confused Protestants, or detached Catholics, or just plain ol' folks who are unsure & authentically seeking truth in some way are watching and listening too. It is good Michael clarified, because there ARE people here who are looking for a way to God. They are watching the Vortexes. Michael can reach them, especially when meaningful clarifications are given.

  • There is a King on the Throne This Day... Jesus is on the Throne of David this day. The Catholic Church is the new and everlasting Israel, the Kingdom is at hand. He has been with us Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity and he will be with us until the end of the age!!!
