Jim Weider playing his 1952 telecaster through his JW40 amp. He's using the lead channel with mids up and slope switch up. The King of Tone pedal is on.

  • This is impressive. Great performance. May I ask what gauge those strings are?

  • Jim uses normal Ernie Ball strings, 10s on the high string but then he gets a little bigger on the lower strings than the normal green SLINKY set.

  • great playing!Same pedal Mark Hitt uses

i believe.Has nice tone....but most of the great sound comes through those fingers!

  • Yes, Mark has been using one with the guys from AC/DC, for a slightly different tone ;).

I think Mark will be playing with an even MORE famous bass player this year!!!! Can't wait to hear them.

  • I have held onto this guitar several times while Jim takes a nap before or after a gig to make sure it doesn't go 'missing'...Jim is the nicest guy on earth with a hilarious sense of humour:)

  • sex

  • @arthunter888

I shot this on November 24, 2007 at the Towne Crier Cafe in Pawling, NY.

I pity those who missed the show.

  • i love 1st and 3th lick

  • Holy shiz this guy is good! Even if I can't get Chevy Chase out of my mind when I'm watching him play.

  • Anyone know what show this was (date, location)? Sounds like one of the best performances of motivator yet.

  • JIM is the best man, just been looking at his old vid.s when he was demoing the fender gear, hope he has kept all that stuff, it will be worth a bomb now, and sound way better than the modern stuff

  • I bought his album after watching this.

  • If you love Jim's playing, buy his CD's like I did and show your support for a heavy weight guitar player.
