Disintegration - After Effects

What do you get when you cross cheesy special effects with not-so-cheesy-actually-quite-good special effects? Disintegration! This was made on After Effects CS4 for Mac and iMovie 09. The music is, as always, from iLife 09. Special thanks to videocopilot.net for the tutorial on how to do this, although, I didn't actually finish the tutorial, so it could've looked a lot better, oh well, this looks good enough :)

@QUATR00 Yeah I know what you mean. I made this before I realized that with every Andre Kramer tutorial comes about 100 attempts at it on YouTube, and only a couple of them actually turn out any good.I'm starting to slowly steer away from posting individual tutorial attempts, to videos that have a combination of them.

@HeapsGoodProductions I guess it's ok for a first try. It's just that over 95% of what people label as VFX here on YouTube is garbage with no attention to detail...

@QUATR00 Yeah, I know it's not very good. I made it a while back and didn't out loads of effort into it. But I mean, I'm pretty happy with it.
