i just finished the game.Pretty hard after all but in the same time it's fun!!.

Preferance towards the game aside, I'd say the idea of the game's story is not obtaining truth but revising one's way or more simply put - deciding to be good, instead of bad/evil/douche as the heroes do not obtain any new knowledge but are instead supposed to rethink their actions. Plato's cave is a little bit more complicated, i'd suggest a google search, there was a site that explained it quite well in a long text, should be in the first results (DEFINETELY not Wikipedia!!!).

Looking at the game's concept of "obtaining the truth" I'd say they succedeed quite well... It's a smart- little buggy - but preety impressive little game anyway and the Plato's inspiration is quite clear over here...

Actually - it isn't. Plato's "Allegory of the Cave" or "Analogy of the Cave" is about how obtaining the truth changes one's view of the world and how that differentiates him from others who are ignorant of said truth. If the game developers wanted to base the game on Plato's idea - they failed miserably. Also they made a stupid game. Most of it can be solves by just one character, the puzzles are mundane and on more than one occasion the game can be broken (not crashed).
