  • @delpillar That's amazing. It really does look like slow motion... perhaps a low Vapp... must have been a light aircraft... there wasn't much smoke during touchdown either. (Subbed you. Looking fwd to more MD-11 videos)

  • @dsk01981 thanks for watching. I did not make a slow mo of this video. i would never make a slow mo without saying it in the title.

  • @delpillar Lovely video. Looks like you made a slow motion of the original video is that correct? Because the touchdown and rollout looks really slow...

  • What a beautiful aircraft the MD-11 is.

  • @Grroocx Finnair does not own any Boeing 747 and is not planning to get them. Its just codeshare flight but certainly not Finnair crew or aircraft. Currently biggest airplanes Finnair has are A340-300 and A330-300, in future they will get A350´s but no 747s.

  • @overclockerfx Thats not true at all, MD-11 is much longert han DC-10, different engines and generally not same parts with DC-10.

  • Finnair is nice and safe airline

  • @uscgswimmer1 , it looks like it will be a Finnair aircraft, but a friend of mine says I'm wrong about the 747 part. Something much smaller, he says. But Finnair, yes.

  • @Grroocx so looks like it will it be a finnair aircraft?

  • @uscgswimmer1, Finnair now flies 747-400 codeshared Finnair 5996 with Iberia 7612 and AA 6218, arriving YVR 1.40 pm and departing terminal M for Heathrow 8.30 pm = 9h 10m flight. I noticed it listed on the YVR Departures boards yesterday. I haven't seen the plane yet but I gather it is Finnair colours. (This current Jan 2012.)
