I shot everything in HDV, transfered it into the computer in the same format (1440x1080i) via firewire cable. Edit the project, keeping it in this format, then in "make movie" I saved it as Mpeg4 HD (720p) file, which is what is uploaded to youtube. I also have Studio 14 now and there are quite a few different options for making your final movie. You can save the whole thing in 1080p using the mpeg4, mpeg2 and wmv options.
