ALOT of babies.

I'd love to see their parents. Do mother _C. rhodostoma_ stick with their eggs just as most mother pitvipers stay with their babies? And is this all just one litter?

Yes, the mothers will stay with the eggs, sort of like pythons, curled around them. I've not seen the thermoregulatory twitching with them, though. There is limited information available about brooding in this species. This is one litter.
