Its so true! As much as we would like to think that we have come a long way, the fact remains that most humans still want to be on the top and have athority over others. Talking about this is a start. I would like to think that we are better than that as people, but its hard to go up to a lead and tell them how you feel. Jobs are too hard to get these days! Be strong and hang in there! ((HUGS))

Don't give up. Sounds like typical hazing crap. It's what the good old boys call "putting in your time", but for most people with a brain it's nonsense.

Sexism is a major issue within America and every single other country, unfortunately, in most any and every way or walk of life. Then again, it's not even just a sexist thing, it's with people in general - as a male I've gotten raw deals with ZERO reason as well, so...not just a sexist issue, people are dumb, they cling to dumb shit and WON'T let it go no matter what you do to prove otherwise (been there).

What good does it do to talk to leads, supervisors, managers, ect. (which I have done), when you are still kept on the back burner while new people are rotated and trained in front of you? I now technically have seniority over my line. It would be hard for some people to tell.

I started asking that question 15 months ago. It doesn't do any good to "communicate" if they won't give you a straight answer, or else they just say "You're not ready yet". That's why I titled the video "Glass Ceiling".
