Moss and Roy show what Tech support sometimes acts like. Or more precisely: what end-users seem like to qualified personnel.

  • Now that I work in IT, I totally understand why people react the way the first guy does. LOL It's amazing how many times I have people call me (usually executives) that literally have "problems" which turn out to be the person having no clue how a computer works, but trying to act like they do because they're emberassed. You're usually either lied to by users, or they call and ask what YOU did that caused their computer to quit working and then get short when you try to troubleshoot. Grrr...

  • @CamOTastic1 Totally know what you're talking about. Whenever a user experiences problems with his system, it's always the administrator's fault, even if all evidence points to a clear case of PEBKAC.

  • It is funny because the first season of The IT Crowd was filmed before a LIVE AUDIENCE. Next time when you're gonna act like a hipster dickhead, do some proper research so you won't end up looking like a complete jackass.

uhh die from aids, idiots like you actually deserve it.

  • Why does no one laugh at "No, not on clothes"?

  • @CamOTastic1 Yeah im IT support and in the military. When they say its my fault, I cant argue because they have higher rank. Oh civilian life I cant wait

  • Very Funny!

  • SSDT HOOKING GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG HENCE THE ARTICLE Why drivers which hook SSDT functions should never unload

  • @shmivv how did that help? Just intersted

  • @johnnyricoMC what is PEBKAC?

  • "You see the Driver hooks a function by Patching the System Cool-Table, so it's not safe to unload it unless another Thread is about to jump in their and do it's stuff, and you don't want to end up in the middle of invalid memory, ha ha ha... Hello?"

  • This is so true. How about "Nothing's changed" or "Just fix it!" I had one lady calling in yelling at me and her router was unplugged. No wonder it didn't work. She had the gall to ask me how that might have happened!

  • Hello IT! Ya ha?
