His outbursts are for real. It is not an act for the crowd. I saw him in Hong Kong last year playing doubles with Venus Williams and he shouted "fuck" very loud. Hong Kong people don't like that at all. Personally I love him though.

Actually AWD265 my bet would be that he was made to practise tennis non stop and lived the unfulfilled dreams of either his mother or father, nothing to do with not being disciplined. He was probably raised by over solicitous parents and had no identity of his own, which eventually presents itself as uncontrollable rage...
