One thing I've read about the White Rose is a song they used, Die Gedanken Sind Frei, there are several versions posted on YouTube along with English translations. My favorite version is by Nena of 99 Luftballoons fame. It's worth a listen.

I played Hans Scholl in The White Rose play in college. What a remarkable story, and what an incredible experience. We were able to meet Dr George Wittenstein, and hear him talk about his friends and his experiences during the War and the Resistance. Peace to all those with anger in their hearts. It was great to see these faces again after almost 18 years out of college.....

What Hitler felt and did to the Jews in the 1930's to the 1940's I hope we always remember especially today when Europe feels threatened by the rise in Muslim population. Why can't people of different races and faiths live side by side by admiring and respecting the best that the other has to offer?
