The entry level Hohner Panther Accordion features 31 treble keys, 12 bass/chord buttons, two sets of treble reeds and double strap brackets. It is offered in the GCF key combination with a matte black finish and has the Bohemian scale. It is one on the best beginner button accordions (harmonikas). It is light, has a very good sound and is competitively priced. Available from Music For All, (www.musicforall.biz) or your local Hohner dealer.

  • I wouldn't want to try it, but it may be possible. There are tons of songs that can be performed on diatonic button accordions that CANNOT be performed the same on piano accordions. You might be able to get close, but I doubt that one could exact the dissonances.

    Thanks, Karl

  • The Hohner Panther is not cheap... but it is inexpensive. I have had no trouble with mine for three years... I paid $300USD for mine, but that was three years ago. For more information:

Talk to Matt there and he will treat you right... tell him Karl from Bayern sent you.

    Thanks, Karl

  • thats badass

  • Thank you, Sir!

  • That is GREAT sir I just bought me one and get it in a week....whats the name of that tune?

  • @eljessej : The name of the tune is Ozapfa: Bairisch for tapping a bier keg. You will love this instrument: it truly can do great things for the money. Thank you for your kind words.

  • It sounds great. Could you play the same song with a piano accordion? I would like to learn how to play it but I have a piano accordion.

  • I wanna find a cheap accordion to broaden my instrument collection and do some funky covers as well...how much did this cost you at the time and what are the exact bass and treble notes?
