Providing HIV treatment to all children who need it includes reaching the youngest among them: those under one year old. Without treatment, one-third of these babies will die before their first birthday, and half before their second birthday.

Early diagnosis of the virus followed by treatment -- puts infants on the path to life-saving care. It is crucial to achieving the goal of child survival worldwide.
