This video was shot at the Western Railway Museum near Fairfield, California. The museum's focus is on California streetcars and interurbans. Sorry about the wind noise, but I think it is usually pretty windy in that part of California.

  • The simplest way to kill that wind noise is to wrap a folded terrycloth facecloth around the microphone and hold it with a few rubber bands. It really works.

  • VERY WELL DONE , THANKS FOR INTERIOR SHOTS. Philip J Nami

I don't think so. I think the SN loco was being used to test newly installed wire.

  • I went there today, it is always windy out there, I rode on Peninsular Railway 52, it was a nice ride, the volunteers are really nice, I want to become one

  • Great, reminds me of a visit to Rio Vista some years ago. Much nore stuff there now.

  • Never mind the wind -- where is the lawn mower?
