@Plakavoid Well the series was always maturing and since Luke was the character going through the most obvious growth his maturity symbolised the show's maturity. i dunno if Rani herself represented a more adult show i think it maintained the same level of maturity initially. it did go more adult in series 2 but i don't think that was tied in with maria dn Rani, probably would've happened whether Maria had stayed or left

@227060 I always thought that Maria leaving and Rani replacing her made the show more adult, as well. Especially in season 4 when Luke, who is younger than the actors playing Clyde and Rani, goes off to University.

The people laughing at Luke are mean! I know some of you guys out there might think its funny when you are at high school and seeing a mum/dad kiss there son/daughter if you think its funny its not! Don't reply and don't say stupid things like get a life etc like that I just wanted to tell you guys out there! By the way I love The Sarah Jane Adventures! I love them! My favourite episodes are the old ones there the best!
