  • stop bill c-23 ..pls look at my vid !

  • The Liberals said they would scrap the GST.....and that was over 10 years ago! Dalton McGuinty isn't doing so well either. Especially after the eHealth Ontario scandal.

If I could, and have the backing of certain individuals, I'd run for mayor of Ottawa.. My forum would be no more busses. No more transitways in my backyard. More trains on existing railines! Get an west-east commuter line going with North American equipment.

If every other city is doing it, why not us too?

  • @laxpol - Sorry Bob. You couldn't be trusted in 1999 when you forced amalgamation on the cities surrounding Ottawa. You allowed city council to try to steal someone elses money. You approved a silly O-train project which parallels the transitway. We need a better commuter network like GO Transit. Not a dinky european train running north-south. We need GO Transit-like, North American built commuter trains running west-east. No more tranitways! Use existing rail routes!

  • @laxpol - I wouldn't vote for him even if he was under another party banner. When he was the mayor of Ottawa he supported the amalgamation of Kanata, Gloucester and Nepean into Ottawa. Ottawa City council wanted to take the CIty of Nepean's hard earned $40 million surplus. It belonged to the people of Nepean but Ottawa wanted to steal it from them. Bob's second cousin Rick, succeeded to a point in getting Ottawa's sticky hands out of Nepean's cookie jar.

  • He got 15% in his last mayoral bid, finished 3rd. He's 68.....

    quit already
