  • how long does it take to turn on?

  • Well, I've been away for school for about 4 months. And my car has just been sitting in our garage. So I can back home to visit, and I go and turn it on, and it just took a while. 4 months of oil sitting at the bottom of the pan. And with an old engine trying to crank the oil to lubricate everything in the engine so it would turn on. It just took a while.

  • mine sat for 5 months outside in winter and started up didnt even have to change the battery, yours carbuerated?

  • Gt-s. But i don't know why. I guess it just depends on the car and the condition that your car was in. but i would imagine, in the snow huh? that's pretty cool. i daily drive this car everyday to school and work now. i can feel the clutch slipping pretty badly on me now. Well, i've had this car for 5 years now. ever since i was a Jr. in high school. No motor swap, no clutch change, no new mechanical thingys. Just been keeping it in good shape. currectly has 270XXX miles on it. haha.

  • hmm sweet i just ran the vin on mine and sure enough mine is an AE86 Trueno with LSD (think thats what its called) body is prettymuch identical to yours. yours must be sr5 though cuz of the carb. yours have rear drums or discs?

  • well, i'm pretty sure mines a gt-s. any corolla owner would know what it is just by looking at it. and it does have disk all around with factory lsd. still breaks loose really good.
