The Emergent Church

Interesting, this video was defined as: "A witty look at the theology in the "emerging" movement." Yet it was not close to witty, and talked nothing about theology! This is pathetic...

I understand the passion of the person(s) who put this together... but at the same time, we are called to reach the world with the Gospel of Christ. I am leery of judging another man's servant with broad strokes like that. The timeless truths of the Word of God need to be proclaimed with timely methods.

Praise God that the Gospel found its way to my ears... and yours.

Everyone wants to be heard. No one wants to listen.

Though I know very litle about this movement, they sound better than traditional Christianity because they are open and ralize they have not arrived. An uncommon attitude among evangelical scholarship and they are wrong about much more than their attitudes will allow them to find out.

pish; grow up a little, sir, get a little post-high school education, and unblock your own ears; you have precious little truth outside Jesus himself and his word. You've chosen to misunderstand the emerging church; go make some friends NOT in your youth group, K?

Follow Bono to the pub? How the Heck is Jesus ever supposed to be accused as a glutton and a drunkard without going to the pub? Tolerance is not about accepting other peoples beliefs, but rather at least starting with accepting people as people so they will even listen to a single word we say about God. Love is unconditional.
