Just because you cant climb a route, doesnt mean you can put it on reserve, no one owns these rocks. If you arn't strong enough to get it fast enough, then dont bitch and let a better climber get the FA.

I wouldnt care if someone 'stole' a FA after 1 day.

It was an open project. He didnt steal anything. If you leave a project and it doesnt get sent for five years, it deserves a worthy suitor. Martino never said it was red tagged, nor did he ever express anger towards Hayden (as far as I know). Others have tried this climb too.

Nick Martino was so psyched on that. Personally I would feel bad if I got the FA of someone else's project that they had been working for as long as Nick had. Props to Hayden, but still, don't go around stealing other people's projects. Just my opinion
