Petty Safe Driving

Designed for drivers ages 15 to 25, the Petty Safe Driving program creates situational awareness by placing participants in compromising driving situations in a controlled environment. Utilizing a research-based curriculum designed by the Clemson University Automotive Safety Research Institute, it gives young drivers a hands-on learning experience, which will build confidence and skills.

Professional instructors from Richard Petty Driving Experience integrate classroom instruction with hands-on driving modules covering the following topics: crash avoidance, emergency lane change, loss of control/skid pad, tailgating exercises and more.
