CHAPTER FOUR :)

Kaitlyn's POV
I didn't know why he would be talking to me in the hallway, but I was going to find out. "What!?"
Then he started yelling, and it kind of scared me. "WHAT THE HELL KAITLYN! WHERE DID YOU GO!?"
I sighed and turned around to go to my locker. And guess what, he followed.
"Kaitlyn I'm not kidding. Seriously, where did you go that it was so much more important than the project?" He interrogated me.
I had already tried twice to open my locker, but it wasn't opening and he was distracting me. "It's none of your business."
"Yes it is! Because of the project we both have the same business." He argued.
I rolled my eyes. "Not with my personal life you dont." I was going to be late for class and my locker still wasn't opening. I gave up on my locker and looked up at Nick. He looked shocked. "What?" I asked a little confused as to why he was looking at me like that.
"I can't believe you would do that..." That didnt help my confusion.
"Do what?" I asked.
"You left me to be with your boyfriend, didn't you?" He looked so surprised and hurt.
"Dont drag Dylan into this." I warned.
Then he got louder. "DIDNT YOU!?" I noticed the kids at their lockers staring at us. Then I looked down at my shoes. "Yes." I said really softly so maybe he wouldn't hear me, but he did.
He walked over to my locker, pulled as hard as he could, opened it, and walked away. All without even looking at me.
I felt terrible, but I didn't know why I really cared. I angrily grabbed my books, slammed my locker closed and walked to class.

It was the end of the day and Sydney and I were walking out of geometry to go to our lockers. We walked past our science class and I started to slow down.
"Come on Kait, were going to be late."
I was just about to keep walking when I saw Nick walk around the corner and into our science class. "Just go ahead Syd, I'll be fine."
I followed Nick into the science room. He walked up to the teachers desk. And for the first time ever, I followed him. I heard him ask if he could redo the project.
The teacher shook her head, "I'm sorry Nick, it wouldn't be fair to the other students."
I quickly jumped in. "It's not his fault."
The teacher looked up from her desk and Nick spun around and gave me a 'what are you doing here' kind of look. "Miss Summers," she began. "What are you doing here?"
I took a deep breath, "Well, you see I was supposed to be working on the project with Nick,"
"And she left me to see her boyfriend!" Nick interrupted.
I glared at him and the teacher told me to continue. "So I think you should give Nick another chance."
"Well, Miss Summers, I'm not so sure you deserve a better grade."
"I know, and thats why Ill take the grade I have now, but it's really not his fault." Strangely, I felt better. I still felt like crap, but I felt better.
The teacher looked at Nick and nodded "You have two days Mr. Jonas, have a nice day." She dismissed us both.
I left the room and walked to my locker.
"Hey, Kaitlyn, wait." I looked up and he was walking towards me.
"You know, last time you did that it didnt end so well." I teased, putting books in my bag.
"Why did you do that?"
I stood up. "I dont know. I just did."
"Kait..." I raised my eyebrows at him. "lyn..." he said with his hands raised.
I let out a little laugh and sighed. "I just felt so bad that I left and I saw you walk in so-"
"Thanks." He interrupted while smiling and I smiled back.
I felt a vibration in my pocket, a text from Dylan. I pulled the phone out of my pocket.
Nick leaned on the lockers. "Dylan?"
I looked up at him. "Yeah."
He stood there for a couple seconds and stared at me. "Yeah, well see you Monday." He turned around and walked away.

Ahhh! :) Okay, so I wasnt even going to post today, but I was in such a good mood. I got a new phone, which made me really happy. And my dog isnt sick anymore, which also made me really happy.
