I am really surprised they did not continue this film on in a tv series, like they did Buck Rogers.

It's because we are not wired for this style of film now, but when I saw it first in '84 it went together very well.

I just watched it for the first time and wow i mean there are parts that ok this is pretty sweet then other when flash gordon speaks that i cringe then i just start laughing when i hear the queen song come on. It so not fits i would bet alot of money that money was part of it to get them to do the soundtrack , it so does not fit at all.
