It is a big finicial commitment to do an event like this, even when done on a tight budget. There are some interesting, less expensive variants to try; road navigational rallies (where we started in mid 90s) and also enduro events which limit engine size to 1400cc and road tyres etc, neither have the absolute speed but they have enjoyable challenges and are good places to learn and hone skills which will be useful as you progress. Thanks for comment.
very impressive, i thouroughly enjoyed spectating but would have rather taken part! I have always wanted to have ago at events like this but have always thought of it to be a big money sport, am i right or can events like this be entered withought breaking the bank?
