How To Play Radiohead's "Creep" On The Mandolin

Heres a little video about how to play radiohead's "creep" on the mandolin. Its pretty straightforward, G B C Cm and the sus chords sort of thrown in there by ear. These are made by keeping the chord the same except moving the note on the third string up a fret for the major chords and up two frets for the minor chord.

amazing voice. i'm hoping to pick up the mandolin sometime soon. would you recommend it to someone who mildly knows music but has never touched a string instrument? i've heard it's a bit easier to get the hang of than guitar for someone starting out.
