  • I would definitely choose Gabriel! He's so gentle...=) And Troy's a big idiot!!!!

  • Oh lovely, three guys all at once.

I´m beginning to wonder if she has some sort of competition running... collecting as many proposals as possible.

  • What is so amazing about Bathsheba, that all the men want her? Is she different in the book?

  • Frank's character was very necessary in that had he not come along, Bathsheba might never have come to her senses...hence her marriage to Gabriel, not to mention her finally feeling something (even if it is pity) for Mr. Boldwood when she realizes his fate.

  • she is a fool to led tha framer on..and gabril now she thinks she is inlove with the soilder,he is not going to take no for a answer,,he is a creep//and she is to stuiped not to have had gabrial for her balif and marry him..

  • In my opinion, the old film from 1967 is much better than this piece.

The actors an all atmosphere are excellent, but this new version is no good.

  • Troy is supposed to be the dashing one, Boldwood the wealthy one, and Gabriel is the steadfast

  • what is this? does he tries to impress her with his stupid show? he is so annoying and dump and bad looking...and bathsheba is an absolut bitch!

  • I love this film! studyin the book in english atm :D

  • That Troy is so annoying, can't stand him, and Boldwood- he is disturbing....What's wrong with that woman?!

  • i think the sword was a phallic symbol and Troy cutting Bathsheba's hair was also a symbolic meaning that she belonged to him, he now owns her. She seems to like it.
