Okey doke...so for those who are just starting to recover or leaving the pro ana community, this is in no way an attack on you, but simply an attack/way to refute the ideas your eating disorder forced you to adopt. In the mean time congrats on considering something new...And if its triggering I have lots of really nice feel-good-about-yourself-vids that might be better suited for you!

Ok so this is a response to bellana's 40 reasons not to eat and the first in a 3 part series...

Um so yeah DUMB!!!!These are pics that I found when I looked up 'DUMB' and they are the ones that totally represent wanting an ED (the dumbness of such a goal) or that made me laugh (just cause something had to)

Sorry some of the text is hard to read, but totally worth pausing for if you ask my opinion.

  • This is the third of your videos I've watched now and they've just blown my mind completely and changed my opinion of everything.

    I want to be skinny, but this is not the way. I will eat and I will exercize and I will get to a lower weight but not by starving.

  • so i dont agree with your video at all and i'm very much proana, however i have to give you props. this video made me laugh and not at you but at the responses to the reasons..like the way you worded them and such.its great! and i want to say that although some of those reasons do seem silly its because not all of them are meant to be taken literally. i think most people know they wont ever be thin enough to be lifted by a helium balloon. believe it or not but proanas have a sense of humor too.

  • I can see how you would feel that way...the reason I got better was to do what I love. I'm just saying that at 5 9 with a muscular build most look really horrible at 100. When your thin and maintain it for a reason other then a vain one I understand it.-when it becomes an obsession or the only thing that matters I don't.

    Bones are fine but when I can see every single 1 & the tendons on top of them the capillaries underneath ur skin, bruise you when i touch u, not so much.

  • I'd rather die than not be able to dance ballet. I'm NOT saying I want to weigh less than 85 (I'd be too skinny to stand much less dance!) , but I'd like to be 100. ik its really skinny but ... its hard to explain... it's just best for me ok?

    ps "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" I personally kinda like to see my bones ^.^ll Ik I'm a weirdo. lol

  • a good enough thing to die for if it wasn't naturally part of your genetics? And the male ballet dancers I know have pretty incredible upper body strength...plus I'm pretty sure there are techniques that help counteract gravity, and help with balance and stuff...there was when I was dancing. I'm not saying everyone has to weigh 200 lbs...I'm just saying that to weight 85 lbs and have "your guy beable to lift you" as one of the 40 reasons to do so is kind of pathetic in my opinion.

  • Being light enough to be lifted with ease is a very good thing for a female ballet dancer like me. plus some ppl find it romantic. ^.^
